Last week Capcom announced a cross-promotion that would mix the Resident Evil 6 universe with Left 4 Dead 2. Resident Evil 6 x Left 4 Dead 2 allows PC owners of either game to experience elements from the other game.

With the PC version of Resident Evil 6 launching today, Capcom has shared a video showing Left 4 Dead 2's Survivors and special infected zombies entering the Resident Evil 6 universe. Four of L4D2's Survivors -- Coach, Nick, Ellis, and Rochell -- are playable in the PC exclusive Mercenaries No Mercy Mode, with The Witch and Mini Tank making an appearance as enemies. Check out the video above for the first in-game footage.

For Left 4 Dead 2 players, your game will be invaded by enemies from Resident Evil 6 including Lepotitsa, Napad and Ogroman. Unfortunately, no video of that has been shared.

The Resident Evil 6 x Left 4 Dead 2 content will be automatically downloaded in the background for everyone who owns Resident Evil 6 on PC, beginning April 5.
