NewsThe spider Unglob and the Mirkwood map patch into Guardians of Middle-earth today
Mortals just need to stay away from Mirkwood. Spiders are scary and giant-intelligent spiders are downright terrifying. Ain’t nobody got time for that. From the Ungoliant’s brood comes Unglob – a deadly monstrous spider. Unlike Shelob, Unglob doesn’t rely on stealth, but instead freakish brute strength.
In Guardians of Middle-earth, Unglob is a striker. The spider focuses on crowd control attacks, removing of crowd controls effects, and life steal. Unglob’s kit is below:
- Stick: Damages, blinds and pulls enemies closer
- Hunt: Increases own movement speed, clears controlling affect and is briefly invulnerable
- Drain: Persistent area that slows and damages
- Bite: Lifesteal, damages and stuns enemy
Unglob is available today for individual purchase or as part of the season pass for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The spider can be bought for $2 or 160 Microsoft Points. Also out today is the new Mirkwood map to coincide with the whole creepy arachnid theme. Watch the trailer above and enjoy these new editions into GOME.
