NewsSilent Hill: Book of Memories receives first DLC pack
Months after the game's launch, Konami has released the first downloadable-content pack for Silent Hill: Book of Memories.
Book of Memories arrived on the PS Vita in October of last year. It was supposed to debut in the spring but got pushed back. Around the same time, Konami faced backlash from the Silent Hill HD Collection, which was wrought with glitches and other technical issues.
The new DLC for Book of Memories brings "refined balancing" and new features, including 10 additional playable characters, 50 more outfits, 10 extra weapons, and two new enemies. The Silent Hill Facebook page also mentions "four other features" but did not specify as to their nature.
The PlayStation Blog is more exact in its details, mentioning — on top of what the Facebook update listed — 14 artifacts, five Valtiel missions, two forsaken rooms, 15 story notes, four Trophies, and 15 character accessories.
The DLC costs $4.99 on the PlayStation Network.
Book of Memories incorporates role-playing and co-op elements, a first for the survival-horror series, and presents a highly different style than its predecessors.
