NewsNew week for Xbox 360, same old for LIVE Activity
Another week, same games. That seems to be the running theme with Major Nelson's Xbox LIVE Activity report. For the week of March 4, the top Xbox 360 LIVE titles are Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, FIFA 13, Halo 4, and Modern Warfare 3. Surprised by any of those? You really shouldn't be; those same titles have been at the top of the charts for weeks, even months now.
Sure, occasionally a new game release might poke its head in the top 5-ish spots, but you can usually bet that by the following week those same games will be right back up there. Perhaps those games' staying power is a testament to their replayability. After all, Call of Duty is notorious for its addicting multiplayer and Minecraft has been a hit since coming over to Xbox. Halo 4 is not only the staple title for Xbox, but also has a solid multiplayer experience. Again, it's not like these aren't top tier games.
