You could say that Lex Luthor is one hell of an opportunist. When the world is crumbling around him he makes the hard hitting choices that could save humanity. When you have a terrorist like Batman running around, Lex realizes that to stop a snake you need to cut it off at the head. What is most important to Lex Luthor, though, is to always make sure he’s on whatever side is winning.
