It appears like Dead Space 3’s first DLC will expand upon the whole horror genre of the game. The new trailer for Awakened features frightening images of Unitologists making their bodies appear to be like Necromorphs. If you didn’t think they were completely bat s#$% crazy before, they are certainly there now.

At one point during the trailer, Carver slaps Isaac across the face and asks him if he could be any more crazy? I mean yea, Isaac is out there, but if you play to co-op missions you know Carver has his own demons he’s dealing with. Regardless, this DLC actually looks like a step in the right direction of horror. Look for it later this month and enjoy the trailer above.
