NewsWatch Dogs lead designer departs from Ubisoft, joins EA
The upcoming action-adventure title Watch Dogs has lost its lead designer. Formerly working on Ubisoft's espionage-themed game, Jamie Keen is now employed by EA Gothenburg. Keen's LinkedIn profile confirms his departure from Ubisoft, and it would seem that the dev will likely work on a currently unannounced Need for Speed game.
It's unknown at the moment how the designer's new position will impact EA's racing franchise, and more importantly, it's hard to tell what effect, if any, his leaving Ubisoft will have on Watch Dogs. Here's hoping Ubisoft Montreal can keep the game on a steady course so it can live up to its full potential.
