NewsMass Effect 3: Citadel gets trailered ahead of tomorrow's release
Tomorrow, March 5, our time with Commander Shepard will come to a close with the release of Citadel, the final single player content pack for Mass Effect 3. In all likelihood, this will also be the last we see of Commander Shepard in the franchise, but it sure looks like a great journey to go out on.
BioWare released today the trailer for Citadel, giving us a better idea of what to expect from the new content pack. "When a sinister conspiracy targets Commander Shepard, you and your team must uncover the truth, through battles and intrigue that range from the glamor of the Citadel's Wards to the top-secret Council Archives," the description reads. "Uncover the truth and fight alongside your squad -- as well as the cast from the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, including Urdnot Wrex."
Mass Effect 3: Citadel will be available on March 5 for $14.99, or 1200 MS Points. Moving forward, BioWare and EA will continue to release new entries into the Mass Effect franchise, though Commander Shepard will not be featured in them. At this point, BioWare has not yet decided if the next Mass Effect game will be a prequel or a sequel to the current trilogy.
