I don't know how I missed this, but for the past few days EA and Maxis have been livestreaming gameplay footage of SimCity. Kicking traditional livestreaming up a notch, they are letting you, us, we, be the mayor of their city.

Throughout the livestream session, in 15 minute increments, they will pose questions on what to build next. Fans can vote and the creators will react accordingly. Furthermore, they will answer your questions you submit via Twitter.

Apparently this has actually been a seven day event leading up to the March 5 launch of SimCity. Today is day four and the shape of the city has been designed in the form of a Simoleon. Check out the livestream here and salivate over the soon-to-be-released SimCity.
