NewsWii U GamePad replacement will cost you $150
If you're a Wii U owner, you're really going to want to make sure you don't misplace the console's touchscreen controller. It turns out replacing a lost GamePad will run you just about $150.
The report comes from a NeoGAF user who shared his story about how Delta Airlines lost his luggage and, in the process, lost his GamePad. The user posted a screen of his receipt from Nintendo, and sure enough, there was a fee including taxes and shipping that came out to $155.15. Ouch!
I used to think 50 bucks was too expensive for an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 controller. Yeah, that price isn't looking too bad right about now.
