NewsSkyrim Dawnguard (hopefully) coming to PS3 tonight
As a reminder, Bethesda will be releasing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's third expansion, Dawnguard, on PlayStation 3 tonight. I say tonight because there is usually some confusion in the release of these add-ons. Although Dawnguard is likely ready to go on PS3, it won't be added to the PlayStation Store until PSN is updated -- which usually occurs in the early evening.
Sometimes things take a little longer; Hearthfire didn't release until nearly 11pm ET last week, so I urge you all to remain patient. I know it can be hard as PS3 owners have waited quite a few months for the arrival of Skyrim's expansions. We've had to endure seeing our Xbox 360 and PC brethren enjoy tons of add-on content. Finally, it's our time.
Like the PS3 releases for Dragonborn and Hearthfire, the Dawnguard content will be 50% off ($9.99) for the first week of release. In Dawnguard, you'll have to make the difficult choic of joining Harkon's vampire uprising or align themselves with the vampire hunters, Dawnguard.
Other notes include the arrival of the French versions of Dragonborn, Hearthfire, and Dawnguard for Canada, as well as Spanish versions in Latin American markets. Tomorrow afternoon, the French, Italian, German, and Spanish markets will get the three remaining add-ons in their respective languages, as well as English.
