Kratos will once again slice through his enemies on your PS3 in God of War: Ascension, coming out on March 12th. Those eager to check the game out before it comes out can rejoice since the demo will officially be hitting PSN later today. Better yet, it's accessible to absolutely everyone, no PS Plus account required!

The demo will focus on the opening sequence and will allow players to explore and get a grasp of of the refined combat mechanics.

In a partnership with HISTORY's Vikings, those who pre-order the game will gain acces to an exclusive multiplayer DLC weapon, the legendary Hammer of Thor, Mjolnir. This weapon forged in the fires of Asgard and tempered in glacial ice will be the perfect complement to destroying your opponents online.
