Publisher Fox Interactive Entertainment and developer Angry Mob Games have revealed the launch date for the upcoming Alien vs. Predator: Evolution. The game, which features hack-and-slash combat and continues the crossover battle between two of sci-fi's biggest franchises, will be available for mobile devices on Thursday, February 28.

You'll be able to take on the roles of both the Alien species and Predator clan. The two character types will have unique attacks and abilities at their disposal as you conquer the game's 19 levels.

Evolution will be downloadable for iOS devices on the iTunes App Store and on Android platforms via Google Play. For a closer look at the game, check out our preview. Here's hoping this mobile action game will help us forget about Aliens: Colonial Marines.
