NewsXbox 720 announcement on the way? 'XboxEvent.com' domain registered
Eventcore (formerly U.S. Techs), the same company that hosted Microsoft's Xbox E3 2012 event, has registered the domain name "XboxEvent.com." Why is this important? The registration comes just a few days after the Sony event this week where the PlayStation 4 was announced. Is Microsoft planning its own private next-gen Xbox event? It certainly seems that way.
According to the NeoGAF poster who originally spotted the registration, Eventcore only acquires domain names for events they are planning on organizing and hosting. Although Microsoft is running sign-ups for a Hosting Summit in March, it's rumored that the Xbox 720 reveal could be in April.
