NewsWatch Dogs box art revealed
Ubisoft has revealed the official box art for Watch Dogs (or Watch_Dogs as it's officially known). I'm assuming Ubisoft added the underscore to emphasize the theme of the game, which revolves around hacking into Chicago's central operating system and manipulating elements of the city to your benefit.
The box art is pretty generic, which is somewhat disappointing considering the scope of the game. I suppose it does convey the message of the game, though -- or at least what you'll be doing in the game. Main protagonist Aiden Pearce is seen standing with his cell phone as he taps into the conversation of a nearby citizen while hacking the city's cameras and controlling the public transportation system.
From what what we've seen of the game, it certainly looks intriguing, but until I go hands-on with it I'm reserving my full judgment. There's no denying, that graphically the game looks great. Ubisoft showed off a brand new gameplay trailer at Sony's press even earlier this month where it was announced as a PS4 launch title, but it was discovered that the game was actually running on a PC, not a PS4 -- though the specs were said to be similar.
Watch Dogs will be available on PS4 at launch, along with the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC.
