NewsBlizzard offers a first look at Diablo 3 on the PS3
Yesterday, Blizzard announced its action role-playing game Diablo 3 will be brought over to the PS3 and newly announced PlayStation 4. It would have been a shocking announcement had we not already been expecting a console port of their game for quite a while now. Still, it will be fun to experience the core gameplay mechanics of the PC-based game on a console.
The PlayStation version of Diablo 3 will feature all of the latest updates, including Paragon levels, the Infernal Machine event, Monster Power, Brawling, and more. It's also being tailored with customized controls, a new user interface, and a dynamic camera perspective.
In a recent post, Blizzard gave fans their first look at Diablo 3 on the PlayStation 3 through a series of screenshots. The trio of screenshots provide a look at the game's graphics and interface on a console -- it looks like the core experience translates pretty well. You'll be able to decide for yourself if you're planning on visiting PAX East. At the Boston Convention, Blizzard will have the PS3 version of Diablo 3 playable for attendees. Multiplayer in Diablo 3 will be supported by both four-player online and four-player local co-op.
