Yoshi Hashimoto showed off the Square Enix tech demo from E3 2012. This footage, not from a game - tells a story of a woman in what appears to be a cult in a fantasy setting, the feds bust in, shoot her master, he hands her a vile and she runs away. There is some enhancement serum injecting into a hyena looking creature and it chases her. This cinematic short was made via Square's Luminous Studios.

Even more important, Shinji Hashimoto made an announcement about a new Final Fantasy title being announced at E3 2013. He said the PS4 has been easy to work with, so here’s hopping. Please be a brand new title and not just another sequel.
