On February 20th it's presumed that Sony will unveil the PlayStation 4. If there's anything I've learned from watching Mad Men though, it's that marketing and branding is the key to a product's success. While we'll likely see what Sony has up its creative sleeve come next week, Aussie company 99 designs has jumped the gun a bit. The website is hosting a competition for its users, asking them to create what they believe should be the logo for the PS4. The winner receives $500.

Best of all, the competition is open to the general public, not just professional designers -- which means plenty of wild and crazy designs to look through. I took the time to browse through the 20-plus pages of submissions and found what I believe to be the craziest PS4 logo designs, designed by you.

There are literally hundreds of other design entries (some really good, some really rainbow-y) over at 99 Designs. If you think you can design a better (or even wilder) logo, the submission period is open for another 3 days.
