NewsGet ready for another SimCity beta

EA and Maxis are gearing up for another SimCity beta to give even more fans a preview of the game before its March launch. Like the first one, this will be a Closed Beta that requires you to sign up beforehand.
The second SimCity Closed Beta will take place on February 16-17, from 9:00am EST (Saturday) to 9:00 am EST (Sunday). It will feature an "enhanced version" of the one-hour slice of gameplay that we previously played, though we're not quite sure what that entails. We've reached out to EA to determine if any different objects will be available for the player or if it will be the same buildings. As you can read in our preview of the last beta, a lot can be accomplished in just one hour.
Furthermore, Maxis today unveiled a new trailer showing off the Limited Edition exclusive content, which includes a Heroes and Villains pack. This pack allows you to add organized crime and superheroes to your city.
