NewsAliens: Colonial Marines 'Contact' trailer gets an Extended Cut
Gearbox and SEGA have revealed a new Extended Cut version of the previously released Aliens: Colonial Marines 'Contact Trailer'. For those who haven't already seen the abridged version, the trailer takes us through the USS Sulaco as the US Colonial Marines fight for their lives against an incoming swarm of Xenomorphs. The extended cut provides a longer look at the intense action that players will experience when playing the game.
More intriguing than the action is the suspenseful tone of the trailer. Featuring a musical score composed by Golden Globe nominated composer Clint Mansell, the trailer perfectly captures the suspense seen in the films which, if you read my earlier preview, is exactly what Gearbox has been aiming for.
Aliens: Colonial Marines is due out on February 12, 2013 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. A Wii U version is coming at a later date. Look out for our review of the game early next week.
