NewsFire Emblem: Awakening briefly delayed at retailers
Fire Emblem: Awakening seems to have been delayed today over some mix-ups with shipping, according to Game Informer.
Retailers are predicting actual release dates of Feb. 6 or Feb. 8, and Amazon has posted a notice reading, "Potential Shipping Delay: Delivery of Fire Emblem: Awakening preorders may be affected by manufacturer shipping delays. Amazon apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause."
You can still download the title via the 3DS eShop, but that doesn't help customers who have already placed a preorder.
The tactical role-playing game is the first in the series to appear on a handheld since 2005 and the most recent entry since the release of Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for Wii in 2007.
