NewsActivision and Xbox partner for Call of Duty Championship
Are you good at Call of Duty: Black Ops II? Feel like you're good enough to take part in a $1 million tournament? Well it's your lucky day. Activision has partnered with Xbox for a Call of Duty Championship which will take place in Hollywood, CA on April 5-7. MLG and ESL will bring together 32 of the world's top skilled multiplayer teams on the Xbox 360 to compete head to head for the grand price.
Eric Hischberg has stated that "More people play Call of Duty multiplayer every day than watch the average regular season game of the NBA. The scale and passion of the Call of Duty fan base is simply humbling, and yet there is no formal way to find out who amongst those millions of players is the best of the best, until now."
Starting today, players who would be interested in taking part of the tournament can head over to THIS PAGE and register foa f ree Call of Duty Elite account. Once registered, teams of four can compete in the February season of League Play in Black Ops II which opened today. The top eight eligible teams will then earn the spots for the Championship.
