NewsDefiance gets second beta on Feb. 8

The Trion Worlds-developed MMO shooter Defiance is giving fans a chance to enter a second beta event. From February 8 at 8 AM Pacific through February 10 at 9 PM Pacific, players who sign up can participate in the Advanced Mission Beta 2.
You'll take on the role of an Ark Hunter as you explore and battle in a futuristic San Francisco bay area setting. As an Ark Hunter, you'll do a bit of treasure hunting and mercenary work.
Trion Worlds recently launched the Ark Hunter Rewards Program. This initiative will allow players interested in that specific class to get a head start in the game.
Defiance is set to launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in April to coincide with the SyFy series of the same name, which airs starting April 15
