NewsUntitled Monolith Soft game revealed for Wii U, codenamed 'X'
Xenoblade Chronicles developer Monolith Soft is working on a new Wii U game, Nintendo revealed today. A trailer was shown in conjunction with the announcement, showing off some pretty stylish visuals and impressive gameplay.
The game, directed by Tetsuya Takahasi, seems to blend the fantasy-based environment, weaponry, and creatures with advanced technology including mechs that can transform and fly. It's got a very Xenoblade-like quality to it and if the hint at the end of the trailer is any indication, it could potentially fit into the Xeno series.
Check out the trailer above and enjoy the gorgeous visuals and mesmerizing soundtrack featuring music by Hiroyuki Sawano. The official game title wasn't announced, though a large red "X" is displayed at the very end of the trailer.
Nintendo also announced today that the first Super Smash Bros. screenshots will be shown off at E3 2013.
