A new trailer for The Wonderful 101, a "mass-hero action" game developed by Platinum Games, aired today during the Nintendo Direct presentation today. 

The trailer focuses mainly on gameplay which involves controlling a large group of superheroes to fight off an alien invasion. It highlights the GamePad functionality, in which you can command the superheroes to combine into various forms.

The Wonderful 101 seems a bit campy, but looks entertaining nonetheless. It is set to release exclusively on the Wii U sometime during the system's "launch window" which technically spans until March 31, 2013.
