NewsBlack Ops 2's Revolution lets you play as a zombie in new 'Turned' mode
In a surprise twist -- one that shockingly wasn't leaked early -- Treyarch is allowing you to play as a zombie in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC.
Revolution adds a new game mode, called "Turned", which pits one human player against multiple player-controlled zombies. If you are a zombie and kill the human, you will respawn as the human. The player with the most points at the end of the match wins.
It's a pretty neat twist, and a fun way for Treyarch to expand on their popular Zombie trend. Elsewhere in the zombie portion of the game, Revolution adds a new co-op map, called "Die Rise", set in a series of collapsed skyscrapers in the remains of an obliterated Chinese City.
For those who prefer the traditional human vs human multiplayer, Revolution includes four new multiplayer maps which you can read about here. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 'Revolution' will be available exclusively on Xbox LIVE January 29 for 1200 Microsoft Points, or $14.99. It will be released on other platforms sometime after.
