You might want to take advantage of all The Walking Dead download sales because the newly released retail edition is creating serious problems for players.
Telltale forum users are reporting that the game on disc is nearly unplayable. They're encountering issues such as freezing and stuttering, quick-time events where the timing is off, and more. Users also said that they couldn't start Episode 2 after completing the first one. An Xbox Live title update was released to address this, but it's still a problem for some.
The developer is aware of the "hitching and stuttering," which is only happening to players with a 4GB Xbox 360 Slim, it says. But users are complaining of problems on other models. Telltale is investigating.
It seems the PlayStation 3 version is also affected with similar problems.
