Yesterday, Telltale Games announced on their Twitter account that Episode 1 of The Walking Dead will be free for a limited time on Xbox 360 and iOS. A New Day -- part one of the five-part season of The Walking Dead games -- is free on Xbox 360 and iOS for a limited time. The rest of the season can be purchased for 400 Microsoft Points per episode ($5). On iOS, players can get the entire season for a discounted price of $15, but that's exclusive to iOS; there is no option for Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

Telltale's The Walking Dead recently won game of the year at this year's Spike TV Video Game Awards show.
