News'Scary Movie 5' trailer proves the series hasn't been funny for a while
The last time I laughed during a Scary Movie film was Scary Movie 2 in 2001. It's not a coincidence that it was the last Scary Movie in which the Wayans brothers directed, wrote and acted. Since then, the franchise has been dreadful. As a Christmas treat, we got a trailer for Scary Movie 5 -- proof that the franchise is dreadful now; so dreadful that Anna Faris isn't in it.
Scary Movie 5 stars Charlie Sheen, Lindsey Lohan, Heather Locklear, Ashley Tisdale and Katt Williams, among other C-List celebs making cameos, like Kendra Wilkinson and Mike Tyson. It released in theaters April 12, 2013. There's nothing in the trailer that even qualifies as 'funny' for me, but someone has to be paying to see these movies, right?
