The Last of Us: New character to be revealed during VGAs

A new character in Naughty Dog's upcoming game, The Last of Us, is primed for a reveal during the VGAs next week, according to a tweet from host Geoff Keighley. I'm sure many of us would've preferred an official release date, but a new character is exciting nonetheless.

Keighley also tweeted the above picture alongside, teasing a woman standing behind Joel and Ellie. Any ideas of who this woman could be? It appears we'll find out when the VGAs air on December 7 at 9:00pm EST.

VGA world premieres also include Gears of War: Judgment, South Park: Stick of Truth, and a mysterious announcement for "old-school gaming fans."

Those who don't have Spike TV will be able to tune in via MTV 2, MTV Tr3s, Xbox LIVE, Spike.com, and GameTrailers.com. GameZone will also be reporting on all of the reveals, as well as any special announcements that may be made.
