A handful of new Dead Island: Riptide screenshots have surfaced. The images showcase a lot of what we can expect from the game when it launches next year, which is a bunch of very undead, very hungry people.

One zombie in particular stands out exponentially above the rest. Obviously, I'm talking about the fat bearded zombie. Dude looks crazy! He looks like he would've been the type of grandpa you don't mess with. Now that he's a zombie, you really don't want to mess with him.

Check out the new screens in our gallery. Riptide is scheduled to land on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 23, 2013.
