NewsiPhone 5 network license should be coming to China in December
China is becoming less strict on their normaly uber strict restrictions on everything it seems now a days; they got World of Warcraft after all. This time, it is the iPhone 5. China received a network license for the Apple phone and it is expected that the phones will go on sale by mid-December.
The Ministry of Industry and Technology considers Apple’s iPhone 5 suitable now to be sold in China now. These phones will be available for both China Unicom and China Telecom. For the most part everything is set and good to go, but of course there are still some hiccups – but they are being ironed through. Mid-December is best guestimate but an official date is still unknown.
Hey China, enjoy that iPhone 5.
