With the release of Far Cry 3 just a few days away now, Ubisoft has released a lengthy trailer revealing just what you can expect when you get stranded on Rook Islands.

The 10-plus minute "Reveal" trailer shows you everything you'll need to know  to survive - from the types of weapons you should use to the people you'll encounter. Far Cry 3 is filled with mystery; the only sure thing is that this savage paradise is filled with lawlessness and violence, and your decisions will ultimately dictate how the events of the game unfold.

In Far Cry 3 you assume the role of protagonist Jason Brody who gets stranded on an island with a group of friends on vacation. Things quickly take a turn for the worst as you and your friends are captured by Vaas, the leader of the group of pirates working for a slave trafficking ring. After escaping, it's up to you to rescue your friends. How you choose to do so is totally up to you, but there will be consequences for your actions.

Far Cry 3 is set to release on November 29th in Europe and December 4th in North America for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
