Activision's mobile division has released Skylanders: Lost Islands on iOS, and it's free to play.

The resource management game allow players to create their own villages in Mabu. In-app purchases can accelerate the town's progress to compensate for the reduced amounts of resources and energy available.

Players can also unlock Skylanders characters when they use the codes associated with the figurines.

The "console-like action-RPG" Skylanders: Battlegrounds is expected to release on iOS soon, as well.
