Episode two of Halo 4's Spartan Ops co-op campaign is now available to download on Xbox 360 for free. Titled "Artifact", this week's episode takes place where Episode one, "Departure", left off.

At the end of Episode one, Chapter five: Core, the mysterious artifact recovered from Requiem sent EMP pulse sent throughout the Infinity. In this week's episode, the artifact begins to take control of the vital systems on board the UNSC Infinity. This forces the Spartans of Crimson and Majestic back down onto the planet to look for a way to free the ship. Similar to the previous episode, "Artifact" will be told over five chapters, each with their own distinct map, objectives, and enemies.

As per usual, this week's episode will be completely free for all Halo 4 players. For more information on Halo 4 or Spartan Ops check out Halo Waypoint's official site.
