NewsMedal of Honor: Warfighter tops FIFA 13 in UK sales for week ending October 27
Forget about the poor reviews Medal of Honor: Warfighter has received since launch. Gamers in the UK sure don't care.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter, which released last week to mixed reaction and criticism, has dethroned FIFA 13 as the top seller, according to GfK Chart Track. Despite its success, Warfighter failed to outdo week one sales of its predecessor, Medal of Honor.
GfK Chart-Track added that 2010’s Medal of Honor is the third best selling title in the 14-game series behind Medal of Honor: Frontline and Medal of Honor: Rising Sun.
FIFA 13, another EA title, remains comfortably ahead of the remaining competition. Sales of the game remain 20% ahead of FIFA 12, the previous best-seller.
Microsoft Forza Horizon debuted at number three. Meanwhile, Skylanders Giants dropped two places to number four, Dishonored to number five, and Just Dance 4 to number six. Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask debuted at seven and Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park at eight. The rest of the top 40 software sales for the week ending October 27, 2012 can be seen here.
