NewsStar Wars: The Old Republic's Free-to-Play features video for those who hate to read
Despite already reporting on the restrictions of Star Wars: The Old Republic's free-to-play option earlier this week, I though I'd share with you a video from BioWare that highlights those same restrictions - or, rather, the features you do have access to with the free-to-play option.
For those of you who are fans of the game, I'm sure you've already read the list. But let's be honest: it's 2012, print is dead, and the concept of "reading" will soon be a thing of the past. And if anything teaches us to look towards the future, it's Star Wars.
These days, it's picture or video. So if you haven't already seen the last article, take a look at the Star Wars: The Old Republic video above and learn what's included if you go the free-to-play route with BioWare's MMORPG. Some may still be skeptical of Star Wars: The Old Republic and the limitations with the free-to-play option, but, to me, the story was it's strongest aspect. And the fact that I can experience that story from level 1-50 for absolutely free might be enough for me to go check it out again.
