NewsTom Cruise signs on for another sci-fi movie: 'Our Name is Adam'
Tom Cruise must not have enough sci-fi in his life. Guess it comes with the whole scientology thing. Mr. Cruise has just finished production on the sci-fi flick Oblivion. He has just started work on All You Need is Kill. And now he's attached to star in the film Our Name is Adam.
The plot for Our Name is Adam is currently being kept a secret, but we do know that T.S. Nowlin has written the script, who also wrote the script for Agent 13, starring Charlize Theron with Ruper Wyatt directing. Mary Parent will be producing, and she's currently producting Pacific Rim by Guillermo del Toro.
Tom Cruise has a full plate, with Jack Reacher coming out soon, and in the future a Van Helsing reboot, a The Magnificent Seven remake, and a sequel to Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. The aura around Our Name is Adam gives me the feeling that outside of a vague synopsis, this movie will have a lot of mystery and intrigue around it. Maybe it'll get the J.J. Abrams treatment and leave us with nothing but questions as the film approaches. As it's a fresh project, there's no premiere date attached to it, so stay tuned for more updates.
