Although much has been said of Desmond Mile's fate in the upcoming Assassin's Creed 3, most of the footage and screenshots shown to fans to date have been of new series protagonist Connor who exists in the Animus. And even though it has been said that Desmond's role in Assassin's Creed 3 is actually much larger than in the past, with his storyline allegedly concluding in this game, much of the emphasis has been placed on the new setting, time period, and character.

A few days ago, however, we may have received our first look at Desmond in Assassin's Creed 3. Posted on the Assassin's Creed Chile Facebook, the image shows Team Animus — Desmond along with Rebecca Crane and Shaun Hastings — in the Holy Temple. It hasn't been verified, but the group is "pretty sure" it's completely official. 

Reactions to the image have been mixed so far, but what do you think?
