Bethesda announced today the release of Skryim Hearthfire on Steam. Surely, you remember that fairly pointless add-on for Skyrim which allowed you to purchase land and build your own home from the ground up. If not, don't worry; even I had to give myself a quick reminder of what it was.

It's been a month since it was released for the Xbox 360, and now it is available for PC on Steam for $4.99. As for Skyrim DLC on the PS3...well, Bethesda isn't so sure if that will ever happen. After beating around the bush for several months, Bethesda finally admitted that they aren't sure they can solve the problem. Regardless, they continue to work with Sony to bring the Skyrim DLC to PS3.
