With so many impressive titles announced for the Wii U's launch, developers and publishers must do everything they can to make their game stand out. For THQ, Darksiders 2 will be one of 23 games that will release on November 18 alongside the Wii U. Looking to raise some awareness, THQ today released some new details about Darksiders 2 on the Wii U, including a fresh batch of screenshots that show off how it will utilize the GamePad controller.

Earlier this month, we learned that Darksiders 2 on Wii U will ship with a selection of bonus content that totals an additional five hours. This includes Argul's Tomb, the game's first downloadable content pack featuring a unique area, three new dungeons, and new weapons and armor. Also included are several add-on packs which add numerous weapons, armor, and quests. The Death Rides pack, Angel of Death & Shadow of Death packs, and Deadly Despair pack are all included.

Darksiders 2 will allow several ways to play including on your TV, just on the Wii U GamePad, or with the Wii U Pro Controller. The GamePad will also function as a way for you to instantly access your inventory and character abilities. It can also be used to evade enemy attacks, manipulate objects in the world, and steer the character during swimming and riding sequences.
