American McGee's version of Little Red Riding Hood is inspired by Japan

American McGee's retelling of the classic fairytale Little Red Riding Hood is inspired by Japanese folklore and art.

Akaniero: Demon Hunter is an action role-playing game from the project leader of the popular American McGee's Alice, which released in 2000. Since 2007, McGee has run the Shanghai-based studio Spicy Horse, which put out Alice: Madness Returns last year, among other titles.

In Akaniero, players manage a team of demon hunters in the new free-to-play multiplayer PC game. You can sign up for the closed beta now.

The game features 8 different areas and over 24 missions.
