Pornstar James Deen may play Christian Grey in 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie
Take a good look ladies; this might be your Christian Grey. Mommy-porn novel Fifty Shades of Grey has taken one step closer to being real porn. American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis took to Twitter to reveal that pornstar James Deen is in the running to play Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. Ellis has been vocal about his availability to write the screenplay of the film, but movie execs went with someone else.
Nevertheless, it seems that Ellis is in the loop, and he's currently working with Deen on Paul Schrader's "contemporary LA Noir" The Canyons, starring Deen and Lindsey Lohan. Bret Easton Ellis tweeted: "Just got inside information that James Deen is actually in the running to play Christian in 'Fifty Shades of Grey' with EL James supported." He later added: "Movie will DEFINITELY be written by a woman and the budget will be below 15m. Ana will be played by an unknown."
If Ana will be played by an unknown and the budget is below $15 million, it makes sense that James Deen be in the running for Christian Grey, as opposed to Ryan Gosling, who is involved in a lot of rumors today about being in the favorite in the running for the role.
I don't know much about James Deen, so I had to take to the internet to find out more. I learned that he's 26 and entered the porn industry at 18. Thanks to his website and Google images, I've learned that he's well endowed... so enjoy that, ladies. Then after hating him since I'm not as, um, equipped as he is, I read that he's been in 1,312 adult films as an actor and has directed 11. ABC Nightline did a report on the actor, and it seems that he has a huge fan-following among teenage girls. Good for him. He does female-friendly pornography (already sounds like 50 Shades) and women love him for his normal guy or slightly skate-punk look.
If anyone reading this gives a sh*t about this movie, who would you rather see play Christian Grey: James Deen or Ryan Gosling?
Note: I have no evidence of equipment size on which I can compare Deen and Gosling... use your imagination.
Now I'm gonna go scrub my eyes with bleach.
