NewsBethesda not confident it can bring Skyrim DLC to PS3
Bethesda isn't sure it can bring either the Dawnguard or Hearthfire DLCs to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for PS3.
"This is not a problem we're positive we can solve," wrote the global community lead "Gstaff" on Bethesda's forum in a locked topic.
"Skyrim is a massive and dynamic game that requires a lot of resources," wrote the community lead, "and things get much more complex when you're talking about sizable content like Dawnguard. We have tried a number of things, but none of them solve the issue enough to make Dawnguard good for everyone. The PS3 is a powerful system, and we're working hard to deliver the content you guys want. Dawnguard is obviously not the only DLC we’ve been working on either, so the issues of adding content get even more complicated."
The technical problem may relate back to the same save-game and framerate glitch that caused users trouble for weeks after launch.
Either way, this is troubling news for owners of the PlayStation 3 version and a bad reflection on the company in general.
Hearthfire was announced earlier this week.
