New demo for The Last of Us available at PAX Prime 2012
Naughty Dog will be showing off a new demo for upcoming PS3 exclusive The Last of Us, the developer announced today.
Posting on the PlayStation Blog, community strategist Eric Monacelli revealed the studio's plans for PAX Prime 2012, which takes place from August 31 to September 2 in Seattle, Washington.
The highlight, of course, will be this new demo for The Last of Us which can be viewed in their booth which looks to be designed from a location of the game.
"Recognize the room? Probably not, but some of you may be able to place it in the world of The Last of Us. If you can’t figure it out, watch the announcement trailer and our E3 demo for some clues," he hinted. Judging from the hint, it's probably somewhere in the building explored after the Ambush trailer.
Anyways, in addition, those who stop by to check out the demo will receive an exclusive PAX Prime 2012 t-shirt. Naughty Dog will also be giving away 11x17 posters featuring cusotm artwork by Alexander Iaccarino made specifically for PAX Prime. The Last of Us game director Bruce Straley will be available on Saturdya, Sept. 1 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Sunday, Sept. 2 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm to sign the posters. A few lucky, random attendees of the signing can also walk away with some very limited edition swag.
The demo and the signing will take place at the PlayStation Booth (that’s Booth #222) and if you come to the booth dressed in Joel or Ellie cosplay they’ll have a very special giveaway, but only for the first five people that show up.
