2K Sports released a new interview today with NBA 2K13 cover athlete Blake Griffin. The interview, which was streamed from 2K Sports' Las Vegas commercial shoot, has NBA superstar Blake Griffin discussing his role in the game, when he plays, as well as how he feels about his 87 rating.

I've always though about how awesome, yet somewhat weird it would be to see myself in a video game. So what does Blake try to do when controlling himself in the game?

"Win, first of all," Blake said, "and score as much as possible and steal the ball every time."

While the overall enthusiasm of the interview is a bit on the low side, it's still a pretty entertaining interview, especially when Blake discusses what he feels he should be rated.

"I'd like to step up a couple notches," Blake admitted. "I'd say 87."

As it turns out, that is exactly what Blake Griffin is rated in NBA 2K13. He's also the best dunker in the game besides Michael Jordan.

You'll be able to slam as Griffin when NBA 2K13 is released on October 2, 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and PC. There is a Wii U version also planned to launch at a later date.
