NewsDiablo 3 character profiles now available on Battle.net
As expected, the mysterious update to the Diablo 3 website is character profiles.
Now available on Battle.net, you can login with your account to access character profiles from any page on the Diablo 3 community site. These profiles allow you to review all of your heroes' information like attributes, gear, stats, and skills.
A career tab will display all of your heroes, how far you’ve progressed in the Diablo 3 campaign, how many foes you’ve slain, the names and playtimes of your fallen Hardcore heroes, and more. A heroes tab will show off your equipment (including dyes, socketed gems, all equipment bonuses, etc.), your attributes and skills, the skills and equipment of your Followers, and more.
Lastly, the new Friends tab lets you compare notes on gear, skill & rune choices, and everything else with your friends. You'll also be able to click on a BattleTag in the Diablo 3 forums to go directly to that player's profile.
Looking ahead, blizzard has plans to add even more functionality to character profiles as Diablo 3 continues to evolve. Future features include detailed statistics and a tab for achievements and artisans.
As for the the actual Diablo 3 game, it is still awaiting the arrival of PvP and Blizzard looking to create more end-game content to provide an alternative to the repetitive item hunt.
