NewsSleeping Dogs shows off its investigative side
Sleeping Dogs is shaping up to be one of the more interesting open world games I've seen in a while. From what I've seen about the game, it looks to be part GTA, with a sprawling open world that is actually interesting to explore, and part L.A. Noire, with some heavy investigation gameplay.
In this video, we get a glimpse at just how in depth the investigations are. From changing your wardrobe to get past others, checking crime scenes for clues, to infiltrating various establishments in disguise in order to get more information and solve the crime at hand.
Developed by United Front Games in collaboration with Square Enix London Studios, Sleeping Dogs is a gritty and visceral open world cop drama set in the vibrant city of Hong Kong. Taking the role of undercover cop Wei Shen, players are tasked with taking down one of the world’s most fearsome criminal organisations from the inside - the Sun On Yee triad.
I'm definitely pumped for Sleeping Dogs, and I can't wait to get my hands on it. I won't have to wait long, since Sleeping Dogs goes on sale August 14th.
