NewsRockstar outlines Max Payne 3 DLC schedule
Though Max Payne 3 has struggled to be the “blockbuster summer hit” fans thought it’d be, in terms of sales – to be fair, the third installment is certainly worth checking out and indulging in. Leading up the game's launch, Rockstar confirmed its post-release support of the shooter, and today the developer has officially unveiled its DLC plans for the rest of the summer, and into the fall.
In August, fans will be treated with a free add-on titled the “Disorganized Crime Pack,” that’ll extend the surprisingly well-done multiplayer component by brining the fighting to rooftops. The following two months will then be packed with three DLC pieces each priced at 800 MSP ($10), including one that features the highly anticipated co-op content that was originally scheduled for an earlier DLC pack. Below you can find out more about these upcoming Max Payne 3 DLC packs:
Disorganized Crime Pack: August [Free]
Hostage Negotiation Map Pack: September [800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or $9.99 (PlayStation Network and PC)]
Painful Memories Map Pack: October [800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or $9.99 (PlayStation Network and PC)]
Deathmatch Made In Heaven Mode Pack: October [800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or $9.99 (PlayStation Network and PC)]
Those who own the title and are members of Rockstar’s Max Payne 3 season pass will receive the DLC at a “35% savings over the cost of purchasing individual packs.” The pass can be purchased in game via the Xbox Live Marketplace for a one-time cost of 2,400 MSP or through PSN and PC for $29.99.
