ArenaNet announced a surprise Guild Wars 2 stress test scheduled for Thursday, August 2nd.

ArenaNet didn't say what the test was specifically for, but did say they will be "actively working" on Guild Wars 2 during the event. Because of that they have warned that you might experience connectivity problems or discover features that are not working as designed.

"Any issues you experience are a result of the rigorous conditions of the stress test, and are in no way representative of the state of the game at launch," they assured.

The final Guild Wars 2 beta event concluded in July and while it was thought to be the last chance players had to play the highly-anticipated MMO before its official release on August 28, tomorrow's testing could give you another chance - and give you the opportunity to "make Guild Wars 2 a better game".
